MY STORY

About me - Dario Di Marco | Industrial Electronics Engineer in the laboratory

FROM THE LAB TO INDUSTRY 5.0

Since childhood I have been passionate about electronics and telecommunications. I was fascinated by the idea of creating software capable of carrying out tasks for me: automating, simplifying, innovating. Technology was not just a hobby, but the way I looked at the world.

Over the years, other interests also emerged: physics, energy, renewable sources. I have always asked myself how to make things more efficient, more sustainable, and smarter. green thinking, for me, is not a trend: it is a genuine mindset.

I started with electronic repairs for private clients, then moved on to companies. Every intervention taught me something: how systems really work, where problems hide, and how to find concrete solutions where others only see "costs and quotations".

But I wanted to do more: not just repair, but create. Solve real needs, not invented problems. So I studied Engineering, and today I design cutting-edge solutions: from completely new systems of industrial automation to plants for energy efficiency, all the way to the integration of IoT and Artificial Intelligence into production processes.

My strength? I know how to move between two worlds. On one side I design pure innovation: systems that did not exist before, technologies that respond to emerging needs, solutions that anticipate the market; on the other side I practice Industrial Retrofitting: I take machines built to last and bring them into the era of Industry 5.0 — with automation, sensors, and connectivity — without wasting decades of solid engineering.

MY METHOD

PRACTICALITY

I do not propose futuristic technologies for their own sake. Every solution must solve a real problem, reduce downtime, or improve quality. If it is not needed, we do not do it.

ASSET RECOVERY

My philosophy is "Revamping First". Before scrapping a plant, I always assess whether it can be upgraded. It is an ecological and economic choice that enhances what you already have.

TRANSPARENCY

I speak clearly about costs, timing, and feasibility from the very first site visit. No surprises at the end. I work closely with your team as if I were an in-house partner.
